What we look for
Buying Patek Philippe well
Patek Philippe is the last of the great Geneva houses still in family hands, and it behaves like it. The Extract from the Archives - a letter confirming a movement and case number against the original ledger - is available for any watch the house has ever sold, and no competing maison offers anything comparable.
We deal across the range, from a 1930s Calatrava ref. 96 in 31mm to a flyback 5980. The Nautilus gets the attention and the price, but the quieter references reward closer looking: a Golden Ellipse in the original 1968 proportions, a Gondolo in rose gold, a minute repeater whose gong you can feel through the caseband.
